Retatrutide Retatrutide has produced large weight reductions in randomized Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials, but it remains unapproved. Long-term outcomes, direct comparisons, rare risks, durability, and final regulatory decisions remain unresolved. BPC-157 BPC-157 is an experimental peptide with extensive animal research but very limited human evidence. A Phase 1 registry record has no posted efficacy result, and a small uncontrolled knee-pain report does not establish benefit. It is not FDA-approved and is prohibited in sport. Tesamorelin Tesamorelin (brand name Egrifta) is an FDA-approved growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog indicated for the reduction of excess visceral abdominal fat in HIV-infected patients with lipodystrophy. It is the only GHS/GHRH-class peptide with current FDA approval. Its efficacy was established in a Phase 3 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
